CONSTITUTION OF REGIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
As per the decision of the Board of Governors of KVS in April 1987 every region should set up an Advisory Committee to monitor the general functioning of the Vidyalayas and a periodical review of the academicperformance. The functions of the Regional Advisory Committee are as follows:-

 To review the progress of the implementation of academic policies formulated by the Sangathan at the regional level;

2

 To monitor academic innovations and experiments in Kendriya Vidyalayas of the region.

3

 To oversee the facilities like library, laboratory, audio visual aids etc. in its Kendriya Vidyalayas;

4

 To review the progress of games, sports and cultural activities in its Kendriya Vidyalayas;

5

 To suggest suitable locations for opening new Kendriya Vidyalayas in the region;

6

 To build and project the image of Kendriya Vidyalayas in the region.
